This morning we enjoy a half day sightseeing tour around the island. This tour takes us back in history with a visit to the convict ruins of Norfolk Island’s famous penal settlement. We hear about the settlers who followed from Pitcairn Island and learn interesting facts about Norfolk Island. We visit the beautiful Melanesian Mission Chapel of St. Barnabas and enjoy morning tea at “Sarnim” which was built in 1860 by the grandson of mutineer Quintal.  After lunch this afternoon we have free time to explore at leisure. After dinner at our hotel, we enjoy the spectacular Sound and Light Show at Kingston.

This morning we have time to explore the Markets if you wish. In the afternoon we enjoy a most interesting tour of the “Convict Settlement” at Kingston. Our guide will take us through the eras of convict settlement on the Island. We will walk through the cemetery and hear the history of various convict and colonial head stones, pass the houses along Quality Row and visit the restored Military Barracks. We walk through the ruins of the gaol and visit All Saints Church (with its beautiful stained glass windows), which was in convict times the Commissariat Store. Tonight we enjoy dinner at our accommodation.

Lunch own expense/arrangement.

We have the morning free to do whatever we would like. This afternoon we are going to visit Hili Goat Farm, a stunning cliff top property at Anson Bay, where they produce quality Dairy Goats Cheese. Come and meet the Cheeky Goats and wander though the Edible Gardens whilst they explain the Milking and Cheese making process and then sit down to a delicious Hilli Goat style Platter of freshly made Goats Cheese and edible delights that have been freshly picked from their very own back yard and you've experienced the Paddock to Plate way of life or "The Norfolk Whey”. Tonight we enjoy a 3 Course Progressive Dinner, visiting different Island homes - a great experience!

Today we split into two groups with one group to join in a Farm and Industry Tour in  the morning whilst the other group will have free time. In the afternoon we swap over. The Farm and Industry tour is very popular and a highlight of our visit to Norfolk. We visit some of the new and unexpected industries on the Island.

Lunch own expense/arrangement.

This morning we will split into two separate groups with one having free time and the other joining the Yesterday Today Tour. This personalised tour with Max Hobbins covers the early years of Norfolk Island to the present day.  This will be explained by an audiovisual which is viewed on our air-conditioned bus. We will learn about the airport where hundreds of aircraft re-fuelled during World War II, the Cascade Whaling Industry and landing pier, Emily Bay where the ship “The Resolution” was built and launched in 1925, The St Barnabas Chapel the Melanesian Mission Training College and so much more on this interesting and informative tour. Tonight we enjoy the “Wonderland by Night” tour which is set in acres of magical Norfolk Pines and bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along a winding pathway with Archie, a descendent of the Bounty Mutineers, as he recites his poems and lights up the dioramas.

Lunch own expense/arrangement.

This morning we pop in to see the Cyclorama and experience the totally unique 360o panoramic painting that will take you on an amazing journey. Feel like you’re really there witnessing the Bounty adventures and discover how the world’s most famous mutiny created the Pitcairn and Norfolk communities. Conceived by Norfolk Islander Marie Bailey, this gigantic panoramic painting vividly illustrates the story of her ancestor Fletcher Christian, the famous Mutiny on the Bounty and the descendants who settled on Pitcairn and Norfolk Island. Today we all take a glass bottom boat cruise around Emily and Slaughter Bays - a feature is the beautiful coral gardens and tropical fish in calm waters inside the reef. We then head off for a most memorable and unique evening, starting with a special “Island Fish Fry”. This is conducted on the cliff top as the sun sets over Norfolk’s western coastline.

This morning we have morning tea at our accommodation before being transferred to the airport. We board our Air New Zealand flight to Sydney, then transferring to the domestic terminal for our ongoing flight homeward bound to Melbourne with Qantas. As usual our chauffeurs will be waiting to return us home with memories of a unique, relaxing and rewarding holiday.
